Third Hand

The third hand is a self-locking tweezer (or cross-tweezer).

It helps with knots together at shortly torn off threads. For that make a knot with the new thread which you doesn't tighten, put the third hand through and grab the short thread-piece with it. If you pull the strap over this piece of thread and closes the knot, it doesn't can slide away through the weight of the third hand.
