The core of the metallic yarn "Andrea" is made from 100% high-quality, long-fiber Egyptian cotton. This is wrapped with a polyester strip with a metallic sheine and shimmer.

Andrea is a metallic thread from Barkonie. The strength is Nm 28/3. This corresponds to NeL 50/3.

A very nice yarn made of high-quality long-staple Egyptian cotton. The consolidation that is applied to the yarn makes it solid and smooth.  The triple twisting and special strengths (Polishing / smoothing) prevents untwisting the yarn even in the most complex machining. The thread is almost lint-free, that gives  the bobbin lace (especially at doilies under glass) more precision. The lace needs no much strengthen.

100 % cotton yarn (20/3) - mercerisied. With OEKO-TEX-STANDARD 100 stained, non-fading, rice-solid, baby-save, been very well suitable to the bobbins. The strength comparable with the linen yarn strength NeL 35/2 or also NeL 50/3. 1,7x fatter than Venus cotton yarn. The yarn is non-fading and colorfast. Each spool has ca. 200 meters. Available in many concerted colors. Unfortunately, it is not possible to show the exact color-illustration in the internet, from technical reasons.

The indicated colors are used therefore only for the bearings.

A mercerized yarn with high quality of Anchor. Cotton mercerised with a fine shine. It is suitable as effect-thread for bobbin lace making.

The brand FIL AU CHINOIS from France has a very high quality. The thread is made from long fiber Egyptian cotton. In the production process is removed by a special treatment of the fluff that makes the thread extremely smooth. Subsequent mercerizing of yarn again tough and slightly shiny.
